• Step 1: Click on the official link for SSC CGL provided above on this page or Go to the SSC’s official website (https://ssc.gov.in/).
• Step 2: The registration link for SSC CGL 2024 will open up in the new window.
• Step 3: Click on the New User/Register Now link.
• Step 4: To begin the SSC CGL Apply Online 2024, a candidate needs to provide basic details about themselves, such as name, parents’ names, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, etc.
• Step 5: Click on the submit button to submit your online registration form for SSC CGL. Candidates are advised to verify their details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID for the SSC CGL 2024 exam.
• Step 6: In the next step, candidates are required to upload photographs and signatures by following the requisites mentioned by the Staff Selection Commission of India.
  • Photograph – The photograph of a candidate must be clicked in front of white colour or light-colored background. The size of the photograph must be more than 4 kb and less than 12 kb in size. The resolution of the photograph must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.
  • Signature—The candidate’s signature must be in black or blue ink on a white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature that needs to be submitted must be in jpg format, and it should be more than 1 kb and less than 12 kb in size. The resolution of the image should be 40* 60 pixels in width and height.
• Step 7: Log in with your registered ID and password to complete Part II of the application form for SSC CGL 2024.
• Step 8: After filling out the application form, candidates must preview the entire application of SSC CGL once to look for glitches, as the form cannot be edited again once submitted.
• Step 9: After previewing the complete online SSC CGL 2024 application form, click on the Final Submit button and pay the required application fee.

SSC CGL Application Fee 2024

The Form for the SSC CGL 2024 varies based on the candidate’s category. The general category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories, including SC, ST, and others, are exempt from paying any fee. This exemption also applies to ex-servicemen and female candidates.
