The UPSC NDA Application Form 2024 for the NDA 1 exam has been released by UPSC along with its notification pdf. The NDA 1 online application form link is available from December 20, 2023, to January 9, 2024 by 6 pm to get admission to the NDA 153rd Course and the 115th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The NDA 1 Notification announced a total of 400 vacancies for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 153rd Course and for the 115th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd January 2025.

Applying online for the NDA Form 2024 involves two stages: Registration and Form Completion. Here is a step-by-step guidance to apply for the UPSC NDA Registration 2024 application form:

Stage 1: Registration (One Time Registration) on UPSC Online Portal (upsconline.nic.in)

  • Step 1: Go to the UPSC Online Portal: https://upsconline.nic.in/
  • Step 2: Click on “New Registration” to register for the first time.
  • Step 3: Fill in the required details like name, date of birth, email address, phone number, etc.
  • Step 4: Create a password and security question answer.
  • Step 5: Verify your email address and phone number using the OTPs sent.
  • Step 6: Remember your Registration ID and password for future logins.

Stage 2: Form Completion and Application Submission

  • Step 1: Login to the portal using your Registration ID and password.
  • Step 2: Click on “Apply Online” for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I), 2024.
  • Step 3: Complete the online application form carefully, providing details like educational qualifications, address, preferred exam centres and choose the preferred branch you want to join in the Defence Army.
  • Step 4: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and photo identity card (Aadhaar card, voter ID, etc.) in the specified format and size.

NDA 1 2024 Application Form Fee

The application fee for the NDA exam 2024 is INR 100 for general candidates. Women candidates are exempt from paying the fee. Candidates from the SC/ST category, sons of JCOs, NCOs, and ORs are exempt from the fee.

  • The application fee must be paid online via SBI Net Banking, in cash via SBI bank challan, or by credit card/debit card.
  • After completing the registration process, candidates should take a printout of the challan generated online and pay the fee in cash.
  • UPSCS NDA application fee of INR 100 is required, which is waived for female/SC/ST candidates.
  • Candidates must deposit the fees at the nearest SBI branch within 24 hours of generating the challan.
  • The cash payment option is disabled one day before the exam.
  • Applicants who have created their pay-in-slip before it is deactivated, on the application’s closing date, may pay at an SBI branch counter during business hours. Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
