UPSC CMS Exam Eligibility 2024
UPSC CMS Eligibility Criteria require the eligibility of the mentioned education qualification, age limit, and nationality as a criterion. Candidates must have done Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognised university.

UPSC CMS Age Relaxation
For the unreserved category candidate, the number of times they can apply is 6 times for the UPSC CMS examination. The OBC candidate can take this examination 7 times and the SC/ST candidate can appear an unlimited number of times (up to 37 years of age). The age relaxation has been discussed below:

UPSC CMS Physical Standards & Medical Standards
- Height: 150 cm for women and 165 cm for men
- Chest girth: 84 cm for men and 79 cm for women, with a minimum of 5 cm for all services
- Vision: 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for males and 6/12 or 6/9 for females
- Blood pressure: 120/80 mmHg
- Blood sugar: Less than 140 mg/dl
- Organ/system: Normal candidates with undescended testicles on one or both sides are temporarily unfit for up to 21 days, unless they report back with an orchidectomy and negative biopsy report for malignancy
- Hydrocele, piles, varicocele, and hernia: Candidates are temporarily unfit for up to 21 days
- Venereal disease: Candidates who have suffered or are suffering from venereal disease are not declared fit unless a detailed examination or urethral smear and serological test prove negative,
