TNPSC Group 2 Eligibility Criteria, Age Limit, Qualification

The TNPSC Group 2 eligibility requirements, also referred to as the Combined Civil Services Examination-II (CCSE-II), will be outlined in the official notification (TNPSC). The applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30 and hold a 10+2 degree from an institution of higher learning accredited by either the Tamil Nadu State government or the Central Government of India.

TNPSC Group 2 Age Relaxation

  • Candidates from ST, SC, OBC, Most Backward Classes/Denotified Groups, and Destitute Widows are not given an upper age limit relaxation.
  • Candidates who have more than 40% impairment are permitted an age relaxation of up to 10 years above the upper age restriction.
  • The maximum age for veterans is 48 years old.
  • Candidates from the SC/ST, Most Backward Classes/Denotified Communities, Backward Classes, and Destitute Widows categories may be as old as 35.
