For IMA Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 2001 and not later than 1st January 2006 only are eligible.
For Indian Naval Academy Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 2001 and not later than 1st January 2006 only are eligible
For Air Force Academy
  • Age: 20-24 years on January 1st, 2025 (born January 2nd, 2001 – January 1st, 2005)
  • Pilots with valid DGCA licenses: 20-26 years (born January 2nd, 1999 – January 1st, 2005)
  • Marital Status: Unmarried preferred, marriage not allowed during training
  • Above 25 and married? You can apply, but no family housing or off-campus living permitted during training
For Officers’ Training Academy
  • To be eligible for the Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for men), unmarried male applicants must be born between January 2nd, 2000 and January 1st, 2006.
  • To be eligible for the Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course), Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible and they must be born between January 2nd, 2000 and January 1st, 2006,

  • Minimum Age: 19 years
  • Maximum Age: 25 years
  • Additional Requirement: Unmarried status, or widow/divorcee without dependent children (with proof of divorce documents)
Other Academies
  • Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and Air Force Academy (AFA): As of now, female candidates are not eligible for IMA, INA, and AFA through the CDS Entry Scheme.
