UPSC CAPF Eligibility Criteria: The Union Public Service Commission on August 2023 will conduct the UPSC CAPF Exam 2023 for recruiting candidates for the position of Assistant Commandant. The limit of age is between 20 to 25 years also candidates has also been provided with upper age relaxations. The Eligibility criteria include the candidate’s educational qualification, age limit, and physical standards is discussed below.

The candidate needs to have a degree of graduation from a recognised University/Collage. Both female, and male candidates must be a Indian Nationality. Applicants must hold the desired UPSC CAPF AC Qualification to fulfils the eligibility criteria.

Candidates wants to appear for the exam must be between the age of 20 to 25 years. Although, there is relaxations for the upper age limit which has been given to candidates of various categories. UPSC CAPF Education Qualification

For applying for the post of UPSC CAPF AC exam 2023, candidates need to have a Graduation degree which has been recognized by the central government. Candidates can look after all the important details given below to have the knowledge about the UPSC CAPF Education Qualification.

  • The candidate may apply for the UPSC CAPF examination while awaiting their results. However, the application will be treated as provisional up till the point where the UPSC does not receive the candidate’s results.
  • An NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate will be helpful. Only the interview and personality test will consider these qualifications.
  • Candidates with professional and technical credentials that the government has deemed to be comparable to professional and technical degrees are also allowed to sit for the exam.

UPSC CAPF Medical Test

  • Required Age: 18-35 years
  • Required Axial-length: 21-26 mm.
  • Required Corneal thickness: 425 micron
  • Pre LASIK error: 6 D
  • Post operative: stable period refractive flap
  • Interval – 6 months (post operative period)

Carrying Angle
  • For males, the carrying angle should not exceed 15 degrees
  • and for females, it should not exceed 20 degrees.
  • There should be no deafness or chronic ear discharge in the candidate.
  • There should be no additional conditions (congenital or acquired) obstructing the ear channel, such as atresia of the meatus, exostosis, or tumour, and no history of recurrent earache, tinnitus, or vertigo.
  • DNS, atrophic rhinitis, tuberculous ulceration, and chronic sinusitis are not acceptable.
  • There should be no swollen lymph nodes, thyroid or other swellings in the neck, difficulty to completely extend the neck
  •  , or any signs of the spine or cervical vertebral disease in the candidate.
  • For proper mastication, the candidate must have a sufficient number of healthy teeth.
  • Candidates must not suffer from severe pyorrhea.
Venereal Disease
  • Candidates should have a history of venereal disease.
  • There should be no active clinical indications of VD.
Chronic skin disorders
  • The candidate must be free of chronic skin diseases such as leprosy and chronic eczema, dermatitis, widespread Pityriasis Versicolor, psoriasis, SLE, and other skin conditions
