The Gujarat Judicial Service Examination is conducted for recruitment to the post of Civil Judge in Gujarat. The selection process consists of:

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

As per the latest pattern, the Preliminary Examination is objective in nature, while the Main Examination is descriptive.

The Gujarat Judicial Services Recruitment Process is conducted in three stages:

Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

• Conducted in an OMR-based format
• Multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
• Question paper language: English only

Marking Scheme

• +1 mark for each correct answer
• -0.33 mark for each wrong/multiple answer

Qualifying Criteria

• Minimum 50% marks in Preliminary Examination
• Minimum 40% marks in Gujarati Language Test (if applicable)
