SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2024
The eligibility criteria for the SSC MTS Exam 2024 are as follows:
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination (Class 10th) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Age Limit:
- For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Candidates must be between 18 to 25 years old as of August 1, 2024.
- For Havaldar (CBIC/CBN): Candidates must be between 18 to 27 years old as of August 1, 2024.
- Nationality:
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- Age Relaxation:
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen) as specified in the official notification
SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2024
The SSC MTS 2024 exam will be conducted in two levels: Paper-1 and PET/PST (for Havaldar only). Paper 1 is an online examination consisting of objective multiple-choice questions.
SSC MTS Havaldar Paper-1 Exam Pattern
The Paper-1 pattern is the same for both positions. It will consist of a Computer-Based Examination divided into two sessions, Session-I and Session-II, Session-I will not have any negative marking which In Session II there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect attempt. SSC MTS Selection Process
The selection process for SSC MTS 2024 consists of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT):
- This stage involves an objective-type exam covering subjects like General English, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and General Awareness.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST):
- Applicable only for Havaldar posts in CBIC/CBN. Candidates must meet specified physical standards and pass physical efficiency tests.
- Document Verification (DV):
- Candidates who qualify in the CBT and PET/PST stages are called for document verification where their eligibility and documents are verified.
- Medical Examination:
- After document verification, candidates undergo a medical examination to ensure they are fit for the job.
