The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts CSE- Civil Services Exams Every Year to Recruit Candidates for 4 diverse categories of posts. In addition, out of the 24 different Civil Services, the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Police Services (IPS), Indian Revenue Services (IRS), and Indian Foreign Services (IFS) are the most coveted titles. UPSC Post List 2024

The Union Public Service Commission publishes a list of 24 distinct UPSC Posts that can be filled through the Civil Services Examination. The major profiles for which are IAS, IPS, IFS, IES, etc. There are two sub-categories of UPSC posts i.e. Group A for candidates chosen for All India Service and Group B for those with slightly lower ranks in organizations namely, Armed Forces, DANICS, etc.In 2024, The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced 1,206 vacancies for the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024, including 1,056 for the prelims exam and 150 for the Indian Forest Service Examination 2024.
