• Maximum Age: 42 years (as of 1 July 2024)
• Age Relaxation:
  • Uttarakhand SC/ST/OBC Candidates: 5 years
  • Disabled Candidates of Uttarakhand: 5 years
  • Dependents of Freedom Fighters of Uttarakhand: 5 years

3. Nationality

• Must be a citizen of India.
• Certain categories of Tibetan refugees and individuals of Indian origin from specified countries are also eligible, subject to eligibility certificates issued by the Government of Uttarakhand.

4. Physical Standards (Applicable for specific posts)

• Deputy Superintendent of Police:
  • Male: Height – 167.7 cm; Chest – 78.8 cm (unexpanded), 83.8 cm (expanded)
  • Female: Height – 152 cm
• District Commandant (Home Guards):
  • Male: Height – 165 cm (160 cm for residents of Uttarakhand); Chest – 84 cm (unexpanded), 89 cm (expanded)
