Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
Physical Fitness: Candidates should meet the prescribed physical standards set by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Tamil is essential.

TNPSC Group 1 Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination: The preliminary exam tests candidates’ general knowledge and aptitude through objective-type questions.
