Q) “Critically discuss the possible implications of the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) recently launched by the RBI.(15 marks, 250 words) 

आरबीआई द्वारा हाल ही में शुरू की गई सेंट्रल बैंक डिजिटल करेंसी (CBDC) के संभावित निहितार्थों की आलोचनात्मक चर्चा करें।

Demand of the Question– The question demands understanding of the concept of money and Digital currency, its functioning, implications, advantages and challenges.

Directive Word- Critically discuss- This keyword demands mentioning the details along with analyzing both pros and cons, with almost equal weightage.

Structure of the Answer

Intro– Define and describe what is CBDC. Mention the recent context.

Body– In the first part, mention the details of CBDC, along with its usage with examples. In the second part, mention the advantages of CDAC, along with scenarios and examples. In the third part, mention the challenges of the same, since the keyword is critically discussed, almost equal parts of the answer should cover advantages and challenges. In the last section, suggest ways to tackle the challenges.

Conclusion– Conclude by mentioning the usage and how it will benefit the economy as a whole as well as individuals. Also incorporate some suggestions for betterment.

भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था पर मुद्रास्फीति के बहुआयामी प्रभाव की विवेचना कीजिए।

Demand of the Question– This question demands a thorough understanding of the concept of inflation and its impact on various sectors, and strata of society.

Directive Word- Discuss- This keyword demands mentioning the impact along with explanations.

Structure of the Answer

Intro– Give a formal definition of inflation, and data of the same from the official source.

Body– Categorize the impacts based on user and market, sectors of economy, strata of societies and for the Government of India. Give real world examples of the effect of the same. In a small section mention about what is the optimal limit, who controls it, and how it is controlled within the limits.

Conclusion-Mention the importance of optimum level of inflation and its impact on society.

Q) Hate speech has been recognised as an exception to free speech. Listing the legislations around hate speech in India, discuss the challenges faced by the government in countering it. (15 marks, 250 words)

घृणास्पद भाषण को मुक्त भाषण के अपवाद के रूप में मान्यता दी गई है। भारत में घृणास्पद भाषण से संबंधित कानूनों को सूचीबद्ध करते हुए, इसका मुकाबला करने में सरकार के सामने आने वाली चुनौतियों पर चर्चा करें।

Demand of the Question– This question demands in-depth understanding of fundamental right of freedom of speech and its reasonable restrictions, along with its links to hate speech and current context.

Directive Word- The first part, though without any keywords, demands justification based on Constitutional articles and laws. Listing- demands mentioning the laws with a short description of them. Discuss-This demands listing the challenges, describing them and mentioning measures to fight them.

Structure of the Answer

Intro– Describe Freedom of Speech along with articles and its reasonable restrictions. Link it with hate speech.

Body– In the first part, how has or how not is hate speech recognized as an exception to free speech. In the second part, mention the laws along with constitutional provisions around hate speech and give a short description of the same. In the third part, mention the challenges the Govt encounters in fighting hate speech. Also, along with it, mention what has been done to fight it. Use Supreme Court judgements and laws.

Conclusion– State the importance of free speech and the need to tackle hate speech simultaneously. Suggest some ways for better incorporating these in laws.
