Major Highlights of 26 January 2024 Republic Day

Women-Centric Republic Day Parade

In a historic move, the 26 January 2024 Republic Day Parade will be dominated by women. From the commencement featuring 100 women artists playing traditional instruments to an all-women Tri-Service Contingent and the inclusion of women personnel in CAPF contingents, the parade aims to celebrate and showcase the empowering role of women in India.

French Participation

Adding an international touch to the celebrations, France will participate with a 33-member band contingent and a 95-member marching contingent.
