This ensign, adopted in 1951, was unveiled by Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari during the 91st IAF Day celebrations at Air Force Station-Bamrauli in Prayagraj on Sunday.

The Indian Air Force was celebrating its 91st anniversary on 08 October 2023. Keeping with the new tradition of hosting the Air Force Day 2023 celebrations in different parts of the country, this year’s Air Force Day parade and Air Display was held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
The ceremonial parade of Indian Air Force Day was conducted at Air Force Station Bamrauli and the Air Display was conducted over the Sangam area, in the vicinity of the Ordnance Depot Fort in Prayagraj.
