IB ACIO Selection Process 2024

The IB ACIO Grade 2 exam selection process is divided into three stages.  Stage 1 is objective, Stage 2 is descriptive and Stage 3 is personal interview.

  1. Stage 1: MCQ-based paper written test with a total of 100 marks.
  2. Stage 2: Essay writing and comprehension test. It is a descriptive paper.
  3. Stage 3: The selected candidates proceed to an interview assessing subject knowledge in the relevant field and Communication Skills.

IB ACIO Exam Pattern 2024

The IB ACIO exam is a three-tier examination. The first tier is the written test. Candidates qualifying for the written test proceed to the descriptive test, and an interview follows for those qualifying for the descriptive test.

IB ACIO Tier 1 Exam Pattern

The IB ACIO tier 1 exam is conducted to select candidates for the descriptive test. Tier 1 consists of five subjects, each carrying 20 marks, with a total duration of 1 hour. The paper is for 100 marks, and a negative marking of 0.25 is applied for each incorrect answer.
