CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023: On April 5, 2023, the Home Affairs Ministry (MoHA) issued a press release announcing that the Central Reserve Police Force would be hiring 129929 Constable (General Duty) positions (CRPF). In the Central Reserve Police Force, Level 3 Constable positions will be filled by direct recruitment. According to the press announcement, a total of 1.3 Lakh (Apx.) positions will be filled, with 125262 of those going to men and 4467 of them going to women whereas 10% of all open positions must be set aside for Ex-Agniveers.

Applicants must have earned a matriculation degree or an equivalent degree from a board or university recognised by the federal or state governments, or, in the case of former soldiers, an equivalent army qualification. For the CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023, a candidate’s age must fall between 18 and 23. The pay range for CRPF General Duty Constable positions is 21700 to 69100 rupees. Three stages will be used to choose the qualified candidates.

CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023 Age Limit

• Age Between 18 to 23. (Candidates from Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes receive a five-year age reduction, and candidates from Other Backward Classes receive a three-year age reduction.)
• The Staff Selection Commission’s announcement of the essential date for determining the age restriction must be followed.
• For candidates in the first batch of Ex-Agniveers, the upper age limit may be relaxed by up to five years.
• The upper age limit may be relaxed for candidates who are ex-agnivees by up to three years.

• The Central Government’s periodically updated Scheme will apply to the Physical and Medical Standards for Recruitment to the Post of Constable (General Duty) in the Central Reserve Police Force.
• Must pass the Physical Efficiency Test and written test requirements for Constable (General Duty) as specified in the recruiting advertising.
• Former Agnivees shall not be subject to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
