Conducted on May 12, 17, and 18, 2023, the 68th Combined Main (Written) Competitive Examination was held at various centers in Patna. The recently announced results reveal a total of 867 candidates who have successfully cleared this examination. These candidates, listed sequentially from left to right, will be extended invitations to participate in the upcoming interview phase.

Among the previously mentioned 867 candidates, additional successful candidates have been announced under horizontal reservation criteria, focusing on disability: 08 visually handicapped (VI), 08 deaf-mute handicapped (DD), 05 locomotor handicapped (OH), and 09 mentally handicapped/multiple handicapped (MD) categories.

Furthermore, the total count of candidates among the 867, who are grandchildren of former freedom fighters of Bihar state, will be included. Thirteen candidates have achieved success, with four securing their positions based on merit within their respective categories and nine based on horizontal reservation.
