The Rajasthan Judiciary Syllabus has been released in the official notification. RJS exam consists of three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interview, which are qualified in nature. RJS Prelims include English proficiency, Law Paper I covering the Constitution, Civil Procedure Code, and Hindu Law, and Law Paper II encompassing the Criminal Procedure Code and Indian Penal Code. RJS Mains, Paper I focuses on Civil Law while Paper II emphasizes Criminal Law. Language proficiency is evaluated through Hindi and English Essay Papers. 

Rajasthan Civil Judge Prelims Syllabus 2024

The Rajasthan Judiciary Preliminary Exam is the first phase or screening test, which is objective in nature, with 100 questions and a maximum of 100 marks up for grabs. 

However, the prelims exam of RJS consists of the following:

  • Law Subjects – 70 % weightage (For the Preliminary Exam, the subjects will be the same as prescribed in the syllabus for Law Paper l and Law Paper ll.
