Union Public Service Commission is going to recruit 404 posts in UPSC NDA 2 recruitment. NDA 2 Application Fees

UPSC NDA 2 Eligibility Criteria

The NDA eligibility criteria for 2024 encompass several key parameters:

    • For NDA 1 exam, candidates should be born not earlier than July 2, 2005, and not later than July 1, 2008.
    • For NDA 2 exam, candidates must have been born not earlier than January 2, 2004, and not later than January 1, 2007.
    • The date of birth mentioned in Class 10 or 12 certificates is accepted by the commission.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • For Army Wing: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 from a recognized board.
    • For Air Force and Naval Wings: Candidates should have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
    • Candidates appearing in Class 12 can also apply, provided they meet other eligibility criteria.
  • Nationality:
    • Candidates must be citizens of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (settled in India before January 1, 1962), or individuals migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
    • Gorkha candidates from Nepal do not require a certificate of eligibility.
  • Marital Status:
    • Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply.
    • Candidates should not marry until the completion of training, as marrying during training leads to discharge and reimbursement of government expenses.
  • Physical Standards:
    • Height, weight, chest measurements, and other physical attributes are crucial aspects of NDA eligibility.
    • Detailed physical requirements are specified for Army, Navy, and Air Force wings, including specific standards for different age groups and regions.
  • Medical Standards:
    • Candidates must meet specified medical criteria, including visual standards, spinal conditions, X-ray examinations, and other medical conditions.
