CGPSC Eligibility Criteria 2024
To partake in the State Service Examination organized by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission, candidates must adhere to the specified eligibility criteria. Educational Qualification
Candidates participating in the CGPSC Exam must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. Alternatively, degrees from educational institutions recognized as universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956 are also accepted. Appointed candidates, upon selection, will undergo a probationary period lasting for three years.
CGPSC Age Limit
- For Police Services: The age limit for candidates applying for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police of State Constable Service should be between 21 to 28 years.
- For Other Services: Candidates must have a minimum age of 21 years and a maximum age of 30 years. An upper age relaxation of 5 years will be granted to permanent residents of Chhattisgarh.

CGPSC Selection Process
The candidates applying for the CGPSC exam will have to undergo the following selection stages:

- Mains exam

Only candidates who achieve the minimum qualifying marks in the prelims exam will advance to the CGPSC mains exam.
