WBCS Exam Date 2026 Out: Prelims on June 14, Admit Card on June 4

West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has announced the WBCS Exam Date 2026 for the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Examination. Those students who are preparing for this highly respected civil service examination can now prepare for the upcoming preliminary examination, which is scheduled to be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
Apart from the date of the exam, WBPSC has also informed that the WBCS Admit Card 2026 will be made available online at www.psc.wb.gov.in starting June 4, 2026.

WBCS Prelims Exam Date 2026 Officially Announced

Finally, after months of speculation by aspirants, the date for the WBCS Prelims Exam 2026 has been officially released by WBPSC. This exam will take place on 14 June 2026, and many students are likely to appear for this recruitment examination.
The preliminary exam functions as a filtering examination for appearing in the WBCS Mains exam. While the scores in the preliminary exam are not considered in calculating the merit list, one should score more than the minimum cutoff to move to the next round.
As per the scheduled timetable, the exam will take place between 12 noon and 2:30 PM, while the gates to enter the premises will be shut by 11:30 AM.
