United Nations Public Service Day 2025
United Nations Public Service Day 2025, observed on June 23, celebrates the vital role of public servants in delivering effective governance and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Established by UNGA Resolution 57/277 in 2002, the day recognizes excellence in public service and promotes innovation, transparency, and youth participation. The UN Public Service Forum 2025 will be held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan from June 23–25, under the theme “Five Years to 2030: Accelerating Public Service Delivery for a Sustainable Future.” The event will feature workshops, roundtables, and the UN Public Service Awards (UNPSA) ceremony.
