Demand of the Question– The question demands understanding of important events like Battle of Buxar and its varied implication on the course of history.

Directive Word– The first part, though without any keywords demands establishing of the facts, with reasons and causes. Elucidate- This demands mentioning and describing in detail.

Structure of the Answer

Intro– Start my giving a timeline of the Battle of Buxar, and important events that led to this.

Body– In the first part, state the reasons as to why and how Battle of Buxar was a decisive struggle, what was its importance. In the second part, mention the political consequences and describe how they were far reaching.

Conclusion– Describe the importance of Battle of Buxar and how it paved the further history of India.

Demand of the Question– The question demands understanding of power struggle between local rulers and the foreign rulers along with its reasons, and consequences.

Directive Word– Bring out- This demands mentioning conflicts with reasons and their consequences.

Structure of the Answer

Intro– Start by mentioning the timeline of arrival of East India Company in Bengal and start of these conflicts with Nawabs.

Body– Mention and detail the various facets of conflicts of East India Company with Nawabs of Bengals, and provide reasons for the same. In the next section, mention the outcome of these conflicts and how this led to important events in future.

Conclusion– State the outcome of these conflicts and contrary argument to prove its importance.20

भारतीय जेलों की स्थिति में सुधार के लिए सरकार द्वारा की गई विभिन्न पहलों पर प्रकाश डालिए।

Demand of the Question– The question requires understanding of legal, police and judicial system with respect to prisons along with prison infrastructure and challenges.

Directive Word– Throw a light- Mention and describe the initiatives and the reasons why they are important.

Structure of the Answer

Intro– Mention data of what is the current status of prisons in India.

Body– In the first part, mention what are the challenges in the prison system in India, provide data and examples. In the second part, mention what are the reasons for these issues and challenges. In the last part, mention the initiatives of GoI in the form of prison reforms. Use various committees for suggesting the reforms.

Conclusion– State the reforms needed and the suggestions that could be used to address these challenges.
