Padma Awards 2026: Full List of Awardees as President Droupadi Murmu Presents Civilian Honours

President Droupadi Murmu conferred Padma Awards 2026 on 66 distinguished personalities during the first Civil Investiture Ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on May 25, 2026.

The prestigious civilian honours recognised contributions across art, sports, education, medicine, public affairs, literature, industry, and social service. The ceremony took place at the Ganatantra Mandap in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Among the major highlights were the posthumous Padma Vibhushan for legendary actor Dharmendra and Padma Shri for Indian women’s cricket captain Harmanpreet Kaur.

For 2026, the President approved a total of 131 Padma Awards:
