Important Dates for UP Police SI Notification 2025

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued the UP Police SI Notification 2025 on 12th August 2025, declaring the full schedule for the recruitment process. All the candidates who are keen on applying for the Sub-Inspector posts should note down the important dates, including the commencement and closure of the online application process. UP Police SI Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements before applying.

Educational Qualification

• A candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university in India.

• Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply, but they must present the degree at the time of document verification.

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025)

• Minimum Age: 21 years

• Maximum Age: 28 years

• Age relaxation is applicable as per UP Government rules:

  • OBC/SC/ST: 5 years

  • Ex-servicemen: As per government norms

UP Police SI Physical Standards 2025

To qualify for the SI post, candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards.

For Male Candidates

• Height:

  • General/OBC/SC: 168 cm

  • ST: 160 cm

• Chest:

  • General/OBC/SC: 79-84 cm

  • ST: 77-82 cm

• Running: 4.8 km in 28 minutes

For Female Candidates

• Height:

  • General/OBC/SC: 152 cm

  • ST: 147 cm

• Weight: Minimum 40 kg

• Running: 2.4 km in 16 minutes

UP Police SI Selection Process 2025

The selection process for UP Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2025 consists of five stages:

1. Written Examination (Online)

2. Document Verification

3. Physical Standard Test (PST)

4. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

5. Medical Examination

Only candidates who clear all stages will be considered for final selection.

UP Police SI Exam Pattern 2025

The written exam will be conducted online and will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.

• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 35% in each subject and 50% overall

UP Police SI Salary 2025

The salary of a UP Police Sub Inspector is quite attractive, along with various allowances.

• Pay Scale: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Level 6)

• Grade Pay: ₹4,200
