MP Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2025

Nationality

• Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualification

• For General, OBC, SC: Must have passed Class 10th (High School) or equivalent (10+2 system) from a recognized board.
• For ST candidates: Must have passed Class 8th or equivalent.

Age Limit (as on 29th September 2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age for General (Male): 33 years
• Maximum Age for Reserved Categories, Women, Ex-Servicemen, and Government Employees: 38 years
• Additional relaxations are available for medal winners and inter-caste married candidates from MP.

MP Police Constable Selection Process 2025

The recruitment process will be held in two major phases:

1. Written Examination (Computer-Based Test – CBT)

   • Duration: 2 Hours

   • Total Questions: 100 (MCQs)

   • Marking Scheme: +1 for each correct answer, no negative marking

   • Distribution of Marks:

     • General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 40 Marks

     • Reasoning & Mental Ability – 30 Marks

     • Science & Basic Mathematics – 30 Marks

2. Physical Proficiency Test (PPT)

   • Includes running, long jump, and shot put.

   • Candidates must secure 30% minimum marks (out of 100).

3. Medical Examination

   • Height, chest (for males), vision, and overall physical fitness will be checked.

MP Police Constable Physical Standards 2025

For SAF Constable (Male Only)

• Height: 168 cm (General/OBC/SC), 165 cm (ST/Maratha), 157 cm (Gorkha/Garhwali/Kumaoni)
• Chest: 79 cm (without expansion), 84 cm (with expansion)

For DEF Constable (Male & Female)

• Height (Male): 168 cm (General/OBC/SC), 160 cm (ST)
• Height (Female): 155 cm (all categories)
• Chest (Male): 81 cm (without expansion), 86 cm (with expansion)

No relaxation is provided in minimum physical standards.

MP Police Constable Salary 2025

Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Scale of ₹19,500 – ₹62,000 (Level 4).

• 1st Year: 70% of basic salary
• 2nd Year: 80% of basic salary
• 3rd Year: 90% of basic salary
• After completion of probation, full salary along with allowances like DA, HRA, and other government perks will be given.
