BPSC 71st Prelims Admit Card 2025 download link has been enabled on the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in. Candidates taking the BPSC 71st Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Prelims can now login through Application Number and Date of Birth (or Username & Password, as provided during registration) to download the hall ticket. It is compulsory to bring a hard copy of the admit card with an identification card that is valid to the examination centre.

BPSC 71st Prelims Exam Date 2025

The BPSC 71st Prelims Exam 2025 will take place on 13th September 2025 (Saturday). The examination will be conducted in one shift at various exam centers of Bihar. Candidates must arrive at least one hour before the reporting time at the exam center along with their admit card and valid ID proof.

BPSC 71st Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

The Prelims Exam will be an objective-type OMR-based test. The details are as follows:

• Subject: General Studies

• Total Questions: 150

• Total Marks: 150

• Exam Duration: 2 Hours

• Marking Scheme:

  • +1 for each correct answer

  • -⅓ (negative marking) for each wrong answer

Only candidates who clear the cut-off in prelims will be eligible for the Mains Examination.

BPSC 71st Selection Process 2025

The selection process for BPSC 71st CCE 2025 consists of four stages:

1. Preliminary Examination – Objective Test (150 marks)

2. Mains Examination – Descriptive Test (1000 marks)

3. Interview – Personality Test (120 marks approx.)

4. Document Verification – Final stage before appointment
