About the Exam:

The ECGC PO exam consists of a Written Examination and an Interview. The Written Exam includes an Objective Test with sections like Reasoning, English, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge, along with a Descriptive Test assessing writing skills through essays and precise writing. Candidates who clear the written exam are called for a Personal Interview, and evaluated on communication, banking knowledge, and problem-solving. The final selection is based on combined scores from the written test and interview, typically in a ratio of 80:20.
