There are three stages of UPSC exam for finally admitting the selected candidates-
Prelims- consists of two papers of objective types(MCQ) and carry a maximum of 400 marks in the subjects give in sub-section A Section II.
The syllabus for Prelims Exams is-
PART-A Paper-1 : (200 marks; 2 hours)
PART-B MAIN EXAMINATION
Qualifying Papers on Indian Languages and English-
The pattern of questions-
ESSAY- Candidates may be required to write on multiple topics.
General Studies 1 include the topics-
General Studies -II
Paper VI & VII-
Optional Subjects- Paper 1 and 2.
Paper 1- Agriculture
Paper 2- Anatomy, Pharmacology and Hygiene.
Anthropology paper 1 and paper 2
Botany Paper 1 and paper 2.
Commerce and Accountancy
