Kuvempu National Award 2022

Rashtrakavi Kuvempu Prathishtana Kuppali has selected Tamil poet V Annamalai (also known as Imayam) for the Kuvempu National award for the year 2022.

About Kuvempu National Award

Kannada National Poet Kuvempu Rashtriya Puraskar (Award) has been presented in memory of the late poet laureate Kuvempu.

Awarded to Whom

The award is given annually to a writer who has contributed in any of the languages recognised by the Constitution of India.

Prize Along with Award

The award carries a cash award of Rs. 5 lakh, a silver medal and a citation.
